Program Description
Pre-university program of SEU is designed to prepare the students wishing to study undergraduate programs instructed in Chinese by providing one-year intensive courses.Students who have completed the coursesand passed the final examination will be issued completion certificates by SEU. Students with excellent academic performance inthisprogram will have the priority to be admitted to SEU undergraduate programs and to be recommended to scholarships.
Courses
Pre-university program of SEU offers intensive courses (36 weeks) to high school and equivalent level graduates to help them further optimize their knowledge structure and matriculate to high-level universities. Theclasses will be taught in small group (less than 30 students in each class) based onthe students'Chinese language level and future majors. The main part of the program is intensive Chinese language training (24classes a week including listening, speaking, reading and writing), and the additional part iselectivecourses (6 classes a week including liberal arts Chinese and mathematicsforliberal artsmajors, mathematics and physics forengineeringmajors,medical Chinese and chemistry for medicalmajors, mathematics and economics for economics and managementmajors), which areclosely related tothe basic courses in the undergraduate program.
